I have also started working on a different project, and for it i needed music.. It's a GBC inspired fishing game!

I installed LMMS, got some Public Domain soundfonts, and made this:

Man... making levels is HARD.

Well, yeah! I got my desktop to work once more, and to celebrate... I started working on a game :3

SO. I don't really use a desktop that much (anymore)
I got a cool 2008 Asus Eee PC 1000HG and I just.. well use it!

Now obviously I can't just use modern linux on such an old i686 laptop...
Oh wait, I CAN. I use Void Linux i386 with i3 :3
It has 2GB of DDR2 ram, and an idle usage of ~150MiB!
It's actually really usable, of course you can't view modern webpages or use shitty services like YouTube
But it's all I need, Now I only go to my desktop if i (sometimes) want to play Terraria or some other games!

I highly recommend getting a small old laptop, it really helps with disconnecting from the social media and doomscrolling!

Last week or two, all I'm doing is literally writing this page!

Now, I modded my laptop, upgrading it from 1GB ram to 2GB, and switching the 160GB HDD to a 256GB SSD
The only "flaw" with it is the internet, we have a 800Mbps network, but my laptop can barely use 500KB/s... But it's still usable! and fast!

It *somehow* can even run GIMP 3.2 and edit photos!

As a part of my depression recovery journey, I decided to make myself black tea with honey every morning.

It's nothing huge, but having such a simple routine really makes my day better!

That's right! I am switching from Bluefish to Lite XL which works much better for me.

It's lightweight, runs on my 2008 Asus EEE laptop, and well, just works great!

Sure it lacks some "features" and stuff, but it's actually great! So great in fact I replaced Bluefish with Lite XL in my Links section!

Genuinely would recommend it for majority of people who don't need super advanced features, but also don't want to dabble in VIM
